The 2024 HR Asia Award is very timely with its theme, “Stepping into the New Era with Gen Z,” as discussions about the work culture of today’s youth are taking center stage.
Ajinomoto Vietnam, one of this year’s awardees, has proven the effectiveness of its human resources strategy through its efforts in creating an ideal work environment and offering attractive welfare policies. These initiatives bring excitement and happiness to all employees, especially the younger generation.
A Work Environment That Embraces Diversity
In addition to competitive welfare policies, Ajinomoto Vietnam focuses on talent development and building a work environment that ensures Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The company says no to age, gender, and nationality discrimination and always respects diverse opinions and perspectives from its employees.
To meet the expectations of employees who constantly seek learning and growth, Ajinomoto Vietnam continuously provides training and education programs. These programs ensure that employees are equipped and updated with knowledge about nutrition, the environment, digital technology, and essential skills to contribute to solving social and human issues in Vietnam. Career development roadmaps are also clearly defined to help individuals navigate their professional paths through specific development plans.
Balancing Work and Health
To retain talent and increase employees’ attachment to the company, Ajinomoto Vietnam offers competitive income levels and policies that ensure a balance between physical, nutritional, and mental health. Initiatives such as providing Healthy Meals at the workplace, developing Nutrition and Health software, and conducting nutrition education programs have been well-received by employees, who have provided extremely positive feedback.
