Mr. Cuong has been appointed as the Chairman of DIG for the term 2023 – 2027. Prior to his appointment, he served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and a member of the Audit Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Hung Cuong (born in 1982) is the son of the late Chairman, Nguyen Thien Tuan, who passed away on August 10, 2024.
Mr. Cuong has been the Vice Chairman of DIG since June 2018. He previously held the position of Deputy General Director from 2012 to 2017, and was the Director of the Thang Long Project Management Board under DIG and the General Director of Investment and Development in Sports Tourism Vung Tau (DIC Sport) from 2010 to 2012. He also currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Investment and Development in Southern Vietnam.
As of the end of June 2024, the new Chairman held 10.16% of DIG‘s capital. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, Mr. Cuong’s sister, owned 2.98%. The late Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan held 7.68%.
At the same time, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen continues to be the authorized person for information disclosure of the Group.
