The Ultimate Indulgence: In-Home Hot Spring Baths
The secret to longevity for 90% of Japanese centenarians is regular hot spring bathing.
Mr. Dang Bao Ngoc, Director of Raymod Vietnam (part of Raymond Group, a renowned Japanese hot spring design company), shares that while hot springs can be found in many places, they are considered a Japanese secret to long life. Japan boasts thousands of natural hot spring sources, branches, and home baths, as well as artificial hot spring resorts. Many Japanese bathe in hot springs daily, considering it a part of their lifestyle.

Embracing the Japanese secret to longevity, the wealthy in areas without natural hot spring sources are turning to ionized hot spring technology (onsen ion mineralization) to bring hot spring water into their mansions, villas, and resorts.
Globally, apart from Japan, American billionaires are also investing in hot spring amenities for their mansions. For instance, Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, owns a Beverly Hills mansion with luxurious features, including a spa and hot spring bath. Similarly, Ellen DeGeneres, a famous TV host, owns a villa in Santa Barbara with a spa and hot spring bath. Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, also owns a premium property with modern amenities, including a spa and hot spring bath.

The Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado, is a renowned resort that utilizes hot spring technology.
Prestigious hotels worldwide, such as Napa Valley Luxury Estates (Napa Valley, California), Sun Valley Luxury Homes (Sun Valley, Idaho), and The Estates at The Little Nell (Aspen, Colorado), also offer luxurious amenities, including hot spring baths.
Describing the ionized hot spring technology, Mr. Ngoc explains that mineral powder derived from natural mineral mines is concentrated and transported to the desired locations. Advanced ionized hot spring technology then produces a stable-temperature mineral spring with controlled concentrations, free from impurities, and emitting a pleasant fragrance. The composition can be adjusted to better suit the user’s health needs, focusing on improvements in skin, joints, cardiovascular health, and more.
Mr. Ngoc further shares that this technology frees investors from relying on natural hot springs and geographical locations. While the total investment in ionized hot spring technology is significantly higher than that of natural hot springs, the results and quality of artificial hot springs are superior, ensuring better health and user satisfaction.
Onsen Village: Indulging in Hot Spring Baths for Health and Wellness
In recent years, the real estate market has witnessed a growing attraction to health-focused properties, including hot spring amenities.

In the real estate market, Ecopark is a pioneering developer in creating a hot spring resort town in Vietnam. After the success of their therapeutic tower, which channels hot springs into each apartment in Ecopark (Hung Yen), Ecopark continues to bring hot springs to each villa in Onsen Village, part of the Ecovillage Saigon River project (spanning 55 hectares, located in eastern Saigon, 18 kilometers from Notre Dame Cathedral).

Onsen Village enjoys a prime location within Ecovillage Saigon River
Spanning 10.5 hectares, Onsen Village boasts a prime location within Ecovillage Saigon River, adjacent to the 20-facility All Blue Square via a scenic bridge. Onsen Village is also conveniently located next to the 3,700-square-meter Resort Clubhouse and the 5,500-square-meter Onsen Clubhouse hot spring therapy complex. Within a 500-meter radius, residents and guests of Onsen Village can easily access the marina and Six Senses Park.

Onsen Village villas offer in-home hot springs for convenient resident therapy.
Onsen Village is a collaboration between Ecopark’s founder and Raymond, a legendary Japanese hot spring company, resulting in one of the most extensive hot spring therapy complexes in Vietnam.
Onsen Village comprises four product lines. First is the Onsen Mansion, with a limited collection of four units featuring indoor and outdoor double hot spring pools that can accommodate up to ten people simultaneously. The remaining three product lines, including standalone, semi-detached, and garden villas, all come with hot springs, saunas, and steam rooms, creating a perfect closed-loop therapy regimen.

“100% of the villas in Onsen Village feature dual aspects, with one side facing the internal closed island road and the other surrounded by a Japanese garden facing the river. 100% of the bedrooms in the villas are located on the same floor, fostering a sense of familial connection,” shared Ms. Mai Thi Hong Quyen, the investor’s representative.

Within the largest hot spring therapy complex in Vietnam is the Onsen Clubhouse, capable of serving 1,000 people per day. The heart of the Onsen Clubhouse is the 13 themed hot spring pools, combining mineral therapy, hydrotherapy, and thermotherapy to cater to the diverse needs of the residents.

To enhance the therapeutic effects, the investor has designed complementary facilities within the Onsen Clubhouse, including four large steam rooms with distinct themes: herbal steam, salt stone steam, hot steam, and cold steam, accommodating multiple residents simultaneously. The complex also features a spa and a dietary restaurant serving post-therapy meals.

The Onsen Clubhouse is strategically placed within a 21,000-square-meter artistic landscape, providing residents and guests with a relaxing and emotional experience to rejuvenate their energy after a busy day. To connect the various amenities, the investor has constructed small trails, allowing residents and tourists to stroll, explore, and savor the wonders of nature.
