YEG plans to offer nearly 55 million shares to existing shareholders, at a ratio of 40% (shareholders owning 100 shares will be able to buy 40 new shares). The offering price is VND 10,000/share, equivalent to an expected amount of over VND 548 billion.

Regarding the plan for capital usage, YEG will use the proceeds to supplement its operating capital, including capital contribution payments, loan repayment, and bank debt settlement. The funds will also be utilized for regular business activities, particularly content production. The expected disbursement period is the fourth quarter of 2024 and/or the first quarter of 2025.

Previously, YEG’s 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders approved a plan to increase its charter capital by over VND 604 billion by issuing over 5.6 million ESOP shares and offering nearly 55 million shares to existing shareholders at VND 10,000/share.

YEG has completed the ESOP issuance. With the full implementation of this offering plan, the company will achieve its proposed goal, increasing its charter capital to over VND 1,918 billion.

In the market, YEG shares closed at VND 9,200/share on September 9.

In terms of business performance, for the first six months of the year, Yeah1 recorded a revenue of VND 294 billion, twice as much as the same period last year. After-tax profit surpassed VND 21 billion, with a net profit of over VND 29 billion, marking a 190% increase compared to the previous year.

According to the company’s explanation, the significant revenue growth was mainly driven by a 136% increase in advertising and media consulting activities. This growth is attributed to popular shows produced by Yeah1, such as “Chị Đẹp Đạp Gió Rẽ Sóng” and “Anh Trai Vượt Ngàn Chông Gai.”

Currently, “Anh Trai Vượt Ngàn Chông Gai” continues to capture the interest and spark lively discussions among viewers. This reality show is a localized version of the original Chinese program “Call Me By Fire,” owned by MangoTV (China). In Vietnam, Yeah1 Group is the sole owner of the production rights for this program.

The show features 33 famous male stars from various fields, including music, film, and sports, such as People’s Artist Tu Long, former footballer Hong Son, singers Bang Kieu and Tuan Hung, actor Tien Luat, rapper Binz, martial artist Duy Nhat, and singer Soobin Hoang Son.

At the 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, Ms. Ngo Thi Hanh Van, CEO of Yeah1 Group, mentioned that after the success of “Chị Đẹp Đạp Gió Rẽ Sóng,” the group invested significantly in “Anh Trai Vượt Ngàn Chông Gai,” demonstrating their commitment to creating impactful programs.
