Japanese fashion retailer Uniqlo is set to expand its presence in Central Vietnam, with plans to open its first store in Hue City by 2025.
Spanning 1,000 square meters, the new store will be located within Aeon Mall Hue, the largest integrated shopping mall in Central Vietnam.
Uniqlo entered the Vietnamese market in late 2019 and currently operates 25 stores across Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, and Binh Duong.
According to Uniqlo, Thua Thien Hue province holds significant development potential as the third-largest economy in Vietnam, boasting a population of over 650,000 people. The province is particularly attractive to domestic and international tourists due to its commitment to preserving cultural values, heritage, and the identity of the ancient capital.
