On September 14, Gumball 3000 took over Le Loi Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, attracting thousands with a gathering of over 100 supercars from around the world. This was the first time the event was held in Vietnam, and it continued until September 15.
The Gumball 3000 featured renowned supercar brands such as Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, and Ferrari. Each of these cars is valued at up to tens of billions of Vietnamese dong in the local market.
Rolls-Royce Wraith
The Rolls-Royce Wraith boasts a V12 engine with a 6.6-liter capacity, delivering a maximum output of 623 horsepower and a peak torque of 800 Nm. Coupled with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.
In Vietnam, the Rolls-Royce Wraith is priced at over 33 billion Vietnamese dong.
Koenigsegg Regera “Honey” Edition
Under the hood, the Koenigsegg Regera packs a 5.0L V8 engine that generates a whopping 1,100 horsepower. When combined with three electric motors, the total output reaches 1,500 horsepower. This supercar can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 400 km/h.
This particular Koenigsegg Regera is the “Honey” Edition, owned by a Canadian millionaire. It is priced at over $2 million USD globally, which is more than 50 billion Vietnamese dong.
While the Koenigsegg Regera doesn’t have a specific price tag in Vietnam, a local tycoon previously purchased this limited-edition model from a US showroom for $5.5 million USD, approximately 132 billion Vietnamese dong.
Modified Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow
This modified Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, owned by an American enthusiast, has been transformed into a pickup truck with a bold and unconventional design. The owner has not disclosed the value of this one-of-a-kind vehicle.
Ferrari Roma
The Ferrari Roma is equipped with a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 612 horsepower and 760 Nm of peak torque, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
With this setup, the Roma can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in 9.3 seconds, and attaining a top speed of 320 km/h.
In Vietnam, the Ferrari Roma is priced at over 20 billion Vietnamese dong.
Porsche 911 GT3 RS
The 911 GT3 RS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 312 km/h. In Vietnam, it is priced at nearly 14 billion Vietnamese dong.
Lamborghini Huracan STO
The Lamborghini Huracan STO can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 9 seconds, with a top speed limited to 310 km/h.
