Viettel directly supported over 2 million affected customers by crediting their accounts with service funds and establishing emergency communications for people and rescue teams in severely impacted areas. Viettel prioritized setting up new connections and providing hundreds of phone SIM cards in the communes and districts affected by landslides, such as Phuc Khanh, Nam Luc (Lao Cai), and Ca Thanh (Cao Bang), to ensure uninterrupted communication for rescue teams.

In addition to supporting communication connections, Viettel deployed approximately 3,000 vehicles, transporting 7,500 tons of goods and essential items to the provinces affected by the storm. Viettel kept its post offices operational to receive goods and donations from organizations and individuals for the affected communities. Furthermore, Viettel provided 500 phone-charging stations in areas without power grid access.
