The Da Nang Construction Department has announced the sale of social housing units in the Bàu Tràm Lakeside Green Urban Area project (Hoa Hiep Nam ward, Lien Chieu district) by Saigon – Da Nang Joint Stock Investment Company.
In this offering, the company is selling 97 apartments, ranging from 45 to 70 square meters. The price per unit varies from VND 747 million to VND 1.145 billion, depending on location and area. The application period is from September 16 to November 10.
The eligibility criteria for purchasing social housing in this phase have been expanded to include new categories as per the Housing Law and Decree 100/2024/ND-CP. Single individuals with a monthly income not exceeding VND 15 million and married couples with a combined income not exceeding VND 30 million are now eligible to buy these homes.
During this phase, Saigon Green Real Estate Joint Stock Company – Thuan Phuoc is also selling apartments in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park social housing project in Lien Chieu District. The units, which are nearly 70 square meters in size, are priced at approximately VND 658 million, and applications are being accepted until September 30.
From 2021 to 2023, Da Nang completed the construction of 8 social housing blocks across 3 projects, including the Bàu Tràm Lakeside Green Urban Area project, totaling 1,774 apartments.
In 2024, the city aims to expedite the development of 5 social housing projects, striving to complete 2,750 units.
Additionally, Da Nang plans to finalize the selection of investors for 3 social housing projects funded by non-state sources and initiate investment promotion for 2-3 new projects in the 2024-2025 period.
