Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB – Code: ACB) has updated its list of shareholders owning over 1% of its charter capital, including 2 individuals and 3 organizations. The list was announced on September 10, 2024, based on information provided by the shareholders. The total ownership ratio of the 5 shareholders disclosed this time is 6.774% of ACB’s charter capital.

Specifically, the three organizations disclosed this time are: Giang Sen Trading Investment Joint Stock Company, Bach Thanh Trading Investment Joint Stock Company, and Thien Huong International Education Village Joint Stock Company.

Among them, Giang Sen Trading Investment Joint Stock Company currently holds nearly 80.3 million ACB shares, equivalent to an ownership ratio of 1.798%. A related party of this shareholder owns 228.1 million ACB shares, equivalent to 5.107% of the bank’s charter capital.

Bach Thanh Trading Investment Joint Stock Company owns 55.9 million ACB shares, equivalent to 1.252% of the charter capital. The number of shares held by a related party to this shareholder is over 250.2 million, equivalent to an ownership ratio of 5.609%.

According to ACB’s published management report, Giang Sen Trading Investment Joint Stock Company and Bach Thanh Trading Investment Joint Stock Company are two entities related to Chairman Tran Hung Huy. In the latest report published by ACB, Mr. Huy owns more than 153 million ACB shares, equivalent to 3.427% of the bank’s charter capital, while a related party of Mr. Huy holds more than 367 million shares, equivalent to an ownership ratio of 8.218%.

In addition to the two companies related to Chairman Tran Hung Huy, the published list also includes another organization, Thien Huong International Education Village Joint Stock Company, which owns nearly 58.6 million ACB shares. A related party to this institutional shareholder holds more than 107.7 million shares, with ownership ratios of 1.311% and 2.412%, respectively.

It is known that Thien Huong International Education Village Joint Stock Company is legally represented by Ms. Ngo Thu Thuy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Au Lac Joint Stock Company.

List of shareholders owning over 1% of ACB’s charter capital announced on September 10

Moreover, two of Ms. Ngo Thu Thuy’s children, Nguyen Thien Huong JENNY and Nguyen Duc Hieu JONNY, are also included in the supplementary list of shareholders.

Specifically, shareholder Nguyen Thien Huong JENNY holds over 60 million shares, with an ownership ratio of 1.344% of the charter capital, while shareholder Nguyen Duc Hieu JONNY owns over 47.7 million shares, equivalent to an ownership ratio of 1.069%. Thus, the total number of ACB shares held by the two children of Ms. Ngo Thu Thuy is over 107.7 million units, which is equal to the number of shares held by the related party of Thien Huong International Education Village Joint Stock Company.

In total, the three shareholders related to Ms. Ngo Thu Thuy own 166.3 million ACB shares, equivalent to 3.724% of the bank’s charter capital.

Previously, ACB had announced the list of shareholders owning over 1% of the bank’s charter capital based on information provided by the shareholders as of July 30.

The list announced by ACB at that time included 2 individuals and 4 organizations, holding a total of nearly 546.9 million shares, equivalent to 12.243% of the charter capital. Among them, Mr. Tran Hung Huy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ACB, owned more than 153 million shares, equivalent to 3.427% of the charter capital. A related party of Mr. Huy held 367 million shares, equivalent to an ownership ratio of 8.218%.

The second individual was Ms. Dang Thu Thuy, a member of the Board of Directors and mother of Mr. Tran Hung Huy, holding 53.3 million ACB shares, equivalent to an ownership ratio of 1.194%. The ownership ratio of a related party of Ms. Thuy was 10.457%.

List of shareholders owning over 1% of ACB’s charter capital announced on July 30

Regarding the institutional shareholders, Prudential Vietnam Life Insurance Company Limited held nearly 69.5 million ACB shares, equivalent to 1.555% of the bank’s charter capital. In addition, a related party of Prudential Insurance held nearly 351,000 ACB shares, equivalent to 0.008% of the capital.

Apart from Prudential Vietnam, three other organizations, namely Smallcap World Fund, Inc., Boardwalk South Limited, and VOF PE Holding 5 Limited, held 112.2 million, 82.3 million, and 76.6 million ACB shares, respectively, with a total ownership ratio of over 6% of the bank’s charter capital. ACB did not provide detailed information about these three organizations.
