The Dong Nai Tax Department has published a list of 384 taxpayers who owe taxes and other dues to the state budget as of the end of August 2024, totaling nearly VND670 billion.

Companies with large tax debts

According to the Dong Nai Tax Department, the disclosure was made due to violations by taxpayers regarding tax evasion, delinquency in paying taxes and other dues to the state budget on time, and non-compliance with regulations for over 90 days from the due date or the deadline for enforcing administrative decisions on tax management.

The largest debtor is Tung Lam Alcohol Production One-Member Co., Ltd. (Xuan Hoa commune, Xuan Loc district), with outstanding taxes of over VND110 billion. This is followed by Phu Hoi Urban Area Joint Stock Company (Long Tan commune, Nhon Trach district) with over VND81 billion in tax debts.

Dong Nai Transport Construction JSC owes over VND53 billion in taxes

The next largest debtor is Dong Nai Transport Construction Joint Stock Company (Nguyen Ai Quoc Street, Trang Dai Ward, Bien Hoa City), with tax debts of over VND53 billion. This is followed by Tan Mai Group Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa Industrial Park 1, An Binh Ward, Bien Hoa City) with over VND39 billion in tax debts, and JOOCO DONA Co., Ltd. (Bau Xeo Industrial Park, Song Trau Commune, Trang Bom District) with nearly VND30 billion in tax debts.

According to statistics, in the first eight months of 2024, the department collected over VND26,500 billion in taxes, equivalent to 71% of the estimate, an increase of 8% compared to the same period in 2023.

During this period, the Dong Nai tax industry collected over VND7,500 billion in tax debts, including nearly VND1,200 billion in old debts from 2023 and over VND6,300 billion in new debts in the first eight months of 2024.
