A stunning transportation project worth over 500 billion VND is about to open in the southwest of Hanoi

The road, which serves as an economic development axis for Thanh Oai District, was approved by the Hanoi People’s Committee for investment in construction.

The entire route is 6.5 km long with 6 lanes, and the total investment amounts to 524 billion VND from the city’s budget.

This project, with the People’s Committee of Thanh Oai District as the investor, was carried out from 2020 to 2024.

According to PV’s observations, the project has basically completed the important construction items, and the contractors are rushing to complete the remaining road paving and landscaping and tree planting.

The road intersects with the southern axis and runs through Thanh Thuy, Thanh Van, Tam Hung, and Kim Bai town (Thanh Oai district).

Most of the project runs through lush green rice fields.

The starting point of the route intersects with Road 427 in Thanh Thuy commune, and the endpoint intersects with the left bank of the Da River in Kim Bai town.

The project has a total investment of nearly 524 billion VND. Of this, the construction cost is nearly 283 billion VND, and the compensation, support, and resettlement cost is about 174.5 billion VND.

In addition to items such as site clearance, pavement, tree planting, and lighting, the project also includes the construction of bridges over Yen Coc, Phuong My, and La Khe canals, soft soil treatment in some sections, traffic organization, and some other auxiliary works…

Looking at these pictures, many people will associate them with the beautiful routes in the Northwest region of Vietnam during the rice season.

Once completed, the route will play an important role in connecting National Highway 21B and the southern axis. In addition, Thanh Oai District is planning the Kim Bai Industrial Cluster (Kim Bai town) right on this transport axis, and there may be more industrial clusters in the future.
