Honda Spacy is a well-known scooter brand that was introduced to the Vietnamese market in 1998 and gained significant popularity. The model was later discontinued, and now only a few remain in the used car market.
In China, the Spacy name has been retained and the scooters are produced by the Wuyang-Honda joint venture. Recently, they launched the all-new 2024 Honda Spacy 125 with significant design improvements.
The 2024 Honda Spacy, recently launched in China, features a soft and sleek rounded design with an overall compact shape, differing from the previous version sold in Vietnam. Its dimensions are 1,810mm in length, 680mm in width, and 1,090mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,246mm and a seat height of 735mm.
The front end is highlighted by a classic round LED headlight, complemented by separate turn signals on each side of the shroud, accented with shiny chrome trim.
The rear end has also been redesigned with a neat and rounded taillight, reminiscent of electric motorcycle models. Additionally, the 2024 Honda Spacy is equipped with a rear rack that can accommodate a storage box.
The Honda Spacy 2024 has a fuel tank capacity of 5.7 liters and weighs 100kg. Its under-seat storage can accommodate a full-face helmet.
The Honda Spacy 125 is equipped with modern technology, including LED lighting, an LCD digital instrument cluster, an engine idle stop system, and smart key technology.
Notably, this scooter features a front USB charging port, CBS standard brakes, and ABS in the high-end version.
Powered by a 125cc eSP engine, the Honda Spacy 2024 delivers 9.38 horsepower and a maximum torque of 10 Nm. Its fuel consumption is rated at 1.8 liters per 100 kilometers.
In the Chinese market, the Honda Spacy 125 is offered in two versions: CBS and ABS. The respective prices are 8,680 Chinese yuan (approximately 30 million Vietnamese dong) and 9,280 Chinese yuan (approximately 32.5 million Vietnamese dong).
