On September 25, the National Pavilion of Vietnam at the 3rd Global Digital Trade Expo (GDTE 2024) officially opened its doors. The expo is taking place from September 25 to 29, 2024, in Hangzhou, China.
The National Pavilion of Vietnam is organized by the Trade Promotion Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, with the participation of leaders from the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, and prominent enterprises, associations, and organizations from both Vietnam and China.
Sixteen pavilions from leading Vietnamese businesses in the field of digital commerce are gathered at the expo. This is a space to showcase advanced products, services, and technology solutions, reflecting the dynamism and innovation of Vietnamese enterprises in the digital transformation journey.

In his opening remarks at the National Pavilion of Vietnam, Mr. Hoang Minh Chien, Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam), emphasized that with the theme “Digital Commerce, Global Access,” the National Pavilion of Vietnam at GDTE 2024 holds significant importance. It creates a platform for exchange and cooperation among enterprises, leaders, and experts in the field of digital commerce.
This event not only serves as a venue for businesses to display and introduce their products and services but also provides an opportunity for them to exchange knowledge and experiences, collectively shaping the future of digital commerce.
The 3rd GDTE continues to affirm its position as the world’s most prominent electronic commerce event. GDTE 2024 is the only international and national-level expo in China focusing on digital commerce, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and the Zhejiang Provincial Government (China). The Hangzhou Municipal Government, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, and the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of China are the organizers.
The expo focuses on three main parts: exhibitions, conferences, and supporting activities (including purchasing, advertising, and logistics).
