The beneficiaries of this supportive policy are investors in social housing or worker accommodation projects within industrial parks, as well as government agencies, organizations, and individuals involved in the development of social housing in Tay Ninh province.

As proposed by the Tay Ninh People’s Committee, the estimated maximum support fund is approximately VND 163 billion, sourced from the provincial budget’s public investment capital.

Meanwhile, the Tay Ninh Department of Construction affirmed that according to the Prime Minister’s Scheme 338 on investing in the construction of at least one million social housing units for low-income earners and industrial park workers for the period 2021-2030, the province was assigned a target of developing 11,900 social housing units by 2030 (including 5,000 units for the period 2022-2025 and 6,900 units for the period 2026-2030).

Thus far, Tay Ninh has constructed and completed 2,098 out of the targeted 5,000 units for the period 2021-2025, achieving 41.96% of the assigned goal.

As of the second quarter of 2024, the province is home to approximately 132,000 workers in industrial parks, who are in need of social housing support. To meet this demand, businesses within and outside the industrial parks have provided about 3,737 units (developed through projects) and 1,842 boarding houses built by households and individuals (offering around 15,222 rooms) to accommodate roughly 80,800 out of 132,000 workers.

Also, during the 15th session, the Tay Ninh Provincial People’s Council, 10th Term, for the 2021-2026 term, voted to pass a resolution on the policy to invest in the purchase of minimum teaching equipment for public schools in the province.

This investment project aims to provide essential teaching equipment to primary and secondary public schools in Tay Ninh, ensuring they can meet the requirements of the 2018 general education curriculum.

The total estimated investment for this project is over VND 244 billion, sourced from the provincial budget. The project is scheduled to be implemented during the 2024-2026 period, with the Tay Ninh Department of Education and Training as the investor.

According to the Tay Ninh Department of Education and Training, the project will contribute to enhancing the quality of education and learning, improving the management and utilization of facilities, and promoting effective teaching practices in public schools.

Currently, Tay Ninh province is home to 455 schools (including 133 kindergartens, 178 primary schools, 97 secondary schools, etc.), with a staff of over 11,024 teachers and educational professionals.
