Inspection Conclusion Announcement Regarding Administrative Procedures and Public Services in Dong Nai Province, and the Ministries of Natural Resources and Environment and Transport

Mr. Hoang Hung, Director of Department I, Inspectorate for Economic Sector, Complaint Settlement, and Denunciation (Department I – Government Inspectorate), presided over the announcement event.


At the event, the inspection team presented the full text of Inspection Conclusions No. 361/KL-TTCP, No. 362/KL-TTCP, and No. 363/KL-TTCP, dated September 30, 2024, by the Chief Government Inspector on the inspection of responsibilities in performing official duties by officials, civil servants, and public employees in handling administrative procedures and providing public services to the people and businesses in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Transport, and Dong Nai Province.

Overview of the announcement event.

The conclusions acknowledged the achievements in performing official duties by officials, civil servants, and public employees in handling administrative procedures and providing public services to the people and businesses in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Transport, and Dong Nai Province. However, it also pointed out certain shortcomings, limitations, and drawbacks, such as delays in issuing plans to reduce and simplify administrative procedures, tardiness in receiving and responding to feedback and proposals from the people and businesses, failure to conduct separate inspections on the responsibilities of officials in handling administrative procedures, etc.

At the announcement event, Mr. Tran Quy Kien, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Mr. Nguyen Danh Huy, Deputy Minister of Transport, and Mr. Nguyen Huu Dinh, Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai Province, expressed their sincere appreciation to the Government Inspectorate and the inspection team for their fairness and objectivity throughout the inspection process. They also acknowledged the achievements of their respective ministries and province in performing official duties related to administrative procedures and public services.


The inspection team also pointed out certain shortcomings in the performance of official duties by officials, civil servants, and public employees in handling administrative procedures and providing public services in the ministries and the province.

Request for Timely Implementation of the Inspection Conclusions and Recommendations

Representatives from the ministries and Dong Nai Province agreed with the content of the inspection conclusions and affirmed that they would seriously direct their units to implement the conclusions thoroughly. They also expressed their desire for continued support and collaboration from the Government Inspectorate during the process of carrying out the conclusions and assured that they would submit comprehensive reports to the Government Inspectorate within the stipulated timeframe.


At the announcement event, Mr. Pham Minh Thanh, Head of Division 1, Department of Supervision, Evaluation, and Post-inspection Handling, requested the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Transport, and Dong Nai Province to formulate plans to act on the inspection conclusions and diligently implement the recommendations within the specified timeframe.


Concluding the announcement event, Mr. Hoang Hung, Director of Department I, Government Inspectorate, emphasized that the event was conducted in accordance with legal regulations.


Mr. Hoang Hung, Director of Department I, commended the units for their resolute and earnest direction in implementing the inspection conclusions, particularly noting that many aspects were addressed during the inspection process itself.


Mr. Hoang Hung, Director of Department I, requested that within 10 to 15 days, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Transport, and Dong Nai Province direct the immediate implementation of the aspects mentioned in the recommendations of the inspection conclusions. For aspects that cannot be immediately addressed, the units should formulate plans with assigned lead and coordinating units, a defined timeline for implementation, and a report to be submitted to the Government Inspectorate in the first quarter of 2025.
