On October 24, 2024, in Hanoi, Vietnam Report Corporation and VietnamNet newspaper, under the Ministry of Information and Communications, organized an event to honor the Top 500 Most Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam and the Top 50 Vietnam Best Profitable Enterprises.

The PROFIT500 ranking – Top 500 Most Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam was first announced in 2017 based on independent research and evaluation by Vietnam Report according to international standards. The ranking aims to honor dynamic enterprises, exemplary businesses with outstanding business achievements, good profitability, and pillars of the Vietnamese economy in the new normal period, as well as promote Vietnamese business brands to the domestic and international business community.

In parallel, the organizers also honored the Top 50 Vietnam Best Profitable Enterprises. According to the organizers, the Top 50 Vietnam Best Profitable Enterprises, announced by Vietnam Report, aims to recognize and honor the Top 50 enterprises with the best profits in Vietnam, while maintaining stable and sustainable business efficiency in the period of 2023-2024.

Mr. Le Tuan Anh – Deputy General Director of GELEX Group received the certificate of Top 50 Vietnam Best Profitable Enterprises in 2024.

In the past time, with many fluctuations in the general context, GELEX has proactively adapted, been flexible and creative, and implemented many solutions to cope with them. By the end of 2023, GELEX’s consolidated total assets were VND 55,076 billion, consolidated revenue reached VND 29,998 billion, and consolidated pre-tax profit was estimated at VND 1,398 billion.

In the first nine months of 2024, GELEX achieved VND 23,617 billion in net revenue and VND 2,270 billion in consolidated pre-tax profit, exceeding the profit plan for 2024.

Besides the business growth target, GELEX promotes the strategy of developing an ecosystem of partners with leading multinational corporations, developing organizational and governance capabilities, taking enterprise culture as a foundation, investing properly in human resources and R&D activities, deploying digital transformation widely in the Group, along with forming a risk management framework to ensure a stable and sustainable system.

Recently, GELEX was also ranked in the “Top 100 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam in 2024” by Brand Finance and was one of the 10 brands with the highest brand value growth rate in 2024, with a growth rate of up to 55%.
