At the reception, the leaders of the above-mentioned corporations introduced their strengths and affirmed that Vietnam possesses great potential for cooperation and investment. They also presented their plans and cooperation projects with Vietnamese partners.

The Prime Minister shared that Vietnam is promoting three strategic breakthroughs in institutions, infrastructure, and human resources. He particularly emphasized the importance of strategic transport infrastructure, including airports, seaports, and highways. In this regard, he proposed that the Abu Dhabi Ports and NDMC groups consider and strengthen cooperation and investment in this field.

Additionally, with over 3,000 km of coastline and a strategic location, Vietnam boasts a strong maritime advantage. The Prime Minister highlighted several large ports that are currently under development or expansion, such as Lach Huyen (Hai Phong), Lien Chieu (Da Nang), Cai Mep – Thi Vai, and Can Gio (Ho Chi Minh City).

He also encouraged the groups to explore cooperation opportunities in digital and green transformation. This includes the collaboration between VinFast and Emirates Driving in electric vehicle production, as well as in innovation and emerging fields like artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and the Internet of Things.

The Prime Minister welcomed the cooperation between NDMC and Vietnamese partners, such as the Oil and Gas Group, in offshore wind power development and land reclamation projects. He suggested that Prime Group, with its extensive network of partners, could serve as a bridge to connect reputable and potent investors with business investment opportunities in Vietnam in the future.

The Prime Minister introduces Vietnamese agricultural products

During the meeting with Mr. M. A. Yusuff Ali, Chairman of the Lulu Group, which operates a global chain of supermarkets, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his appreciation and commended the group for being a connector, introducing high-quality Vietnamese products to consumers in the Middle East and other countries.

In 2024, Vietnam is expected to achieve an agricultural export turnover of approximately 60 billion USD. The country is promoting the production and export of agricultural products with a focus on delicious and clean food at reasonable prices.

The Prime Minister requested that the Lulu Group continue to promote and introduce more Vietnamese products with high potential. He suggested organizing a quarterly Vietnamese agricultural products day in the Middle East to further enhance the presence of Vietnamese goods in the region.
