On October 30, reporting at the online conference for the fourth quarter of 2024, Chief of Staff of the General Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement (THADS) Phan Huy Hieu said that in the context of many challenges, new cases and receivables continue to increase. The entire THADS system has implemented solutions on all fronts to complete the assigned tasks, exceeding the targets.
Specifically, the results of the enforcement of judgments were completed for 620,657 cases, equivalent to more than 116,531 billion VND (reaching 83.88% of cases and 51.84% of the amount).
The results of enforcement in corruption and economic cases have been completed for 9,211 cases, recovering over 22,177 billion VND (reaching 84.16% of cases and 57.29% of the amount).
The results of enforcement related to credit and banking have been completed for 6,252 cases (reaching 23.13%), equivalent to 30,544 billion VND (reaching 25.01%).
According to the representative of the General Department of THADS, the achievements are substantial and sustainable, with consistent growth across all aspects. The organizational structure of the judgment enforcement agencies has been constantly consolidated and strengthened.
However, at the conference, the Director of THADS of Hanoi, Pham Van Dung, expressed concern about the lack of staff while the workload is increasing.
Mr. Dung proposed that the competent authorities soon consider and supplement the staff in a timely manner, especially in localities with a large number of cases such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Danang…
Mr. Nguyen Quang Thai (Director General of the General Department of THADS) said that with the increasing number of cases and the lack of human resources, the task requires the high determination of all enforcement officers and civil servants. They need to work on holidays and festivals to gradually resolve difficulties.
The Director-General of THADS requested that the leaders and civil servants strictly follow the regulations of the Party, State, and industry in performing their tasks.
