In her farewell letter to customers, Nguyễn Ngọc Trâm – founder of the Lep’ fashion brand – shared that she could no longer keep up with the rapidly changing market, with its endless styles and affordable, attractive products.”
“There were times when I managed a team of 200-300 employees. These eight years have been filled with tears and sleepless nights,” shared Founder & CEO of Lep’, Ngọc Trâm. “The decision to close our doors was not an easy one,” she added. Taking a break will allow her to rediscover herself and embark on new journeys as a mature woman.
The CEO of Lep’ expressed her gratitude to all customers and announced that the brand would be closing all its stores and online operations by November 30. A special sale with flat prices ranging from VND 199,000 to VND 499,000 is currently ongoing across all Lep’ stores and e-commerce platforms.
Before this announcement, Lep’ was a women’s fashion brand established in 2017. However, it wasn’t until August 2018 that the owner registered the business under the name “Công Ty TNHH Thời Trang Song Bình,” based in Hanoi. In addition to Lep’, the company also owns the fashion brand Keira Tống.
The company’s primary business is retailing garments, footwear, leather, and artificial leather goods through specialized stores. They have also registered for various other business activities, including agency, brokerage, and auction services; wholesale of automobiles and other motor vehicles; retail sale of medicines and medical equipment; photography; and road freight transportation.
The initial chartered capital of the company behind Lep’ was only VND 200 million, with two founding shareholders: Mr. Trần Hoàng Định (born in 1993) and Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Trâm (born in 1993), each holding a 50% stake.
Before becoming husband and wife and co-founding Lep’, Mr. Định and Mrs. Trâm were classmates in the K51 batch at the Foreign Trade University (FTU). Mr. Định also serves as the company’s legal representative and General Director.
In late June 2018, the company moved its headquarters to Thanh Xuân District, Hanoi, and increased its capital to VND 1 billion in November of the same year. In October 2020, the company further raised its capital to VND 5 billion, with the shareholder structure remaining unchanged.
On March 12, 2021, the enterprise changed its model to a joint-stock company, increasing its charter capital to VND 8 billion. The shares were distributed among three founding shareholders: Mr. Trần Hoàng Định (50%), Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Trâm (45%), and Mrs. Phạm Minh Thúy (5%).
In April 2022, the company again raised its capital, this time to VND 20 billion, but the shareholder structure was not disclosed. On August 24, 2022, the Company changed its name to CTCP Thời Trang Au Cuture.
