The Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance Agency has just released a list of over 15,700 employers in the city who are behind on their social insurance contributions by three months or more, as of October 31, 2024.
Notably, among these employers is Quyен Linh Artist Company, with overdue social insurance contributions totaling over VND 2.1 billion, spanning five months.
Quyen Linh Artist Company was established in August 2018 with an initial chartered capital of VND 9.79 billion. The company’s primary business is the production of cosmetics, soap, detergents, polishes, and sanitary preparations. According to registered information, as of February 2020, the chartered capital of Quyen Linh Artist Company was increased to VND 20 billion with a 100% contribution. By the end of 2021, the company further raised its capital to VND 60 billion, and in April 2023, it increased the chartered capital to VND 100 billion.
Currently, the chartered capital of Quyen Linh Artist Company stands at VND 200 billion.
Regarding artist Quyen Linh, recently, there have been rumors circulating on social media about the popular MC being burdened with massive debts and facing difficulties in repayment.
Quyen Linh has denied these rumors of being in “heavy debt,” borrowing from various banks.
In response to these allegations, MC Quyen Linh stated: “If anyone can find documentation proving that I borrowed VND 1 billion from a bank, I am willing to give them an additional VND 1 billion. That’s my promise. Why would I need to borrow from banks? Goodness, who spreads such rumors?”
