According to Mr. Wilson Wu, Vice President of Global Sources, the exhibition serves as an ideal bridge connecting top manufacturers and suppliers of electronic components, meeting the urgent needs of factories in Vietnam for stable sources of electronic components, automation equipment, and precision machinery.
This event offers enterprises an opportunity not only to find suitable suppliers but also to update themselves on the latest technologies and optimal solutions for their production lines.
“We are honored to host top buyers such as Samsung Electronics, LG, Canon, Dell, Yamaha, Toshiba, Sanyo, FPT, VNPT, and Viettel, among others. This exhibition presents an excellent opportunity for high-level business exchanges and connections with strategic partners,” said Mr. Wilson Wu.
Ms. Do Thi Thuy Huong, a member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Electronics Enterprise Association (VEIA), shared that in the first ten months of 2024, the export turnover of the electronics industry reached a remarkable $105 billion, almost equaling the total export turnover of the electronics industry in 2023 ($109 billion). These figures showcase the industry’s exceptional growth potential and the development of Vietnam’s smart electronics supply chain.
According to Ms. Huong, many global electronics suppliers consider Vietnam as the “cradle” of smart electronics manufacturing.
In the last two years, particularly in 2024, there has been a noticeable shift in the supply chain towards Vietnam. This year, continuous investment flows have been directed into the Vietnamese electronics industry.
“With the expansion of Foxconn and the Apple supply chain, along with commitments to expand production from established electronics companies in Vietnam, such as Samsung and LG, the Vietnamese electronics industry has a great opportunity to break through and participate in the global supply chain,” Ms. Huong observed.
To continue this journey, Ms. Huong emphasized the essential need for Vietnam to build a supportive ecosystem for adopting advanced technologies, promoting sustainable practices, and maintaining the highest standards in manufacturing and fabrication.
Meanwhile, Mr. Allen, representing Sinictek Smart Technology Co., Ltd. (China), commented on the potential of the Vietnamese market, given the presence of numerous leading global electronics enterprises.
Therefore, he expressed his desire to connect with large partners, including Vietnamese enterprises.
