General Secretary To Lam expressed his sincere appreciation and high regard for the efforts of NVIDIA Corporation Chairman Jensen Huang and his team in actively collaborating with the Vietnamese government to advance cooperation. This includes the realization of the commitment to “make Vietnam the second home of NVIDIA” by establishing an AI Research and Development Center and an AI Data Center in Vietnam.

The General Secretary considered this a significant milestone in the beginning of a strategic partnership between Vietnam and NVIDIA Corporation. He emphasized that successful collaboration with leading global technology corporations like NVIDIA in research, development, technology transfer, and high-quality human resource development plays a pivotal role in helping Vietnam maximize the potential of AI. This will shape the country’s technological future and turn its development aspirations into reality in this new era.

General Secretary To Lam highlighted that Vietnam is at a crucial juncture, marked by revolutionary changes in thinking and approaches to implementing the nation’s development strategy in the new era. The Vietnamese government is keen on harnessing the power of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, placing science, technology, and innovation at the core of its growth strategy. It aims to transition to a digital economy and achieve sustainable development. Vietnam identifies the semiconductor and AI fields as strategic priorities to make significant leaps in productivity and competitiveness and deeply engage in the global technology value chain.

General Secretary To Lam expressed his desire for NVIDIA Corporation to continue its support for Vietnam in developing its AI ecosystem and strengthening technological self-reliance. He affirmed that the Vietnamese government considers NVIDIA Corporation a leading strategic partner in the fields of semiconductors and AI. Vietnam is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for the effective implementation of cooperative endeavors between the two parties. This will position Vietnam as a new shining star in the region and globally regarding semiconductors, AI, and innovation, contributing to the overall development of the world economy and the advancement of human civilization.

At the meeting, NVIDIA Corporation Chairman Jensen Huang expressed his gratitude to General Secretary To Lam for his attention to the cooperative relationship between NVIDIA Corporation and Vietnam. He conveyed his delight and strong impression of his visit to Vietnam, including the establishment of the AI Research and Development Center and the AI Data Center in the country.
