Newly released Q4/2024 financial statements:

Vietjet (VJC) announced a consolidated after-tax profit of over 21 billion VND for Q4, an 8% increase year-on-year. For the full year 2024, Vietjet’s after-tax profit reached nearly 1,426 billion VND, six times higher than in 2023.
Tien Len Steel (TLH) reported a loss of nearly 323 billion VND in after-tax profit in Q4 due to selling products below cost. For the full year, the company’s loss amounted to 598 billion VND, a record high.

Dat Xanh Group (DXG) posted an after-tax profit of nearly 210 billion VND in Q4, a significant increase from 654 million VND in the same period last year. For the full year, Dat Xanh Group’s after-tax profit was 454 billion VND, triple that of the previous year.
Vietnam Rubber Group (GVR) reported an after-tax profit of 2,398 billion VND in Q4, a 69% increase year-on-year. For the full year, the company’s profit reached 5,103 billion VND, a 51% increase compared to 2023.
As of now, the Q4 financial reporting picture is almost complete, with aviation businesses showing strong performance. All aviation companies reported over 20% profit growth for the full year, with Vietnam Airlines leading the way with an after-tax profit of 6,883 billion VND.

Most logistics companies also reported profit increases in 2024, except for Gemadept, SAFI, Vinafco, and two loss-making enterprises, Nosco and VP Petrochemical Transportation.
