The Tu Bong New Urban Area project and the Dam Mon New Urban Area project are among the key developments currently underway in the zone. The management board of the Vân Phong Economic Zone is preparing a report for the provincial People’s Committee and a draft report to the Ministry of Planning and Investment regarding the conversion of rice land use. They are also conducting surveys, measurements, and investigations to support land clearance and compensation.
The luxury resort project at Ho Na Lake is undergoing a land-use rights auction, with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment seeking input from relevant departments to select the investor.
The high-end Co Ma Urban Area project has seen the approval of the investor selection results and the signing of the project contract by the management board of the Vân Phong Economic Zone.
The Doc Da Trang Industrial Park project is scheduled to break ground on April 1, 2025.
The construction of the Hon Ngang – Bai Cat Tham eco-tourism project is expected to commence in March 2025.
The vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee has instructed the management board of the Vân Phong Economic Zone to coordinate with investors to expedite the completion of procedures for the timely groundbreaking of these projects.
Local authorities are urged to promptly formulate compensation and resettlement plans, as well as hand over the cleared land to investors. Official reports on challenges and obstacles regarding compensation for illegal constructions on the land are to be submitted for the People’s Committee’s consideration and decision-making.
Furthermore, the People’s Committee requests that investors establish clear timelines and plans for implementation, allowing for close monitoring and facilitation. They are also expected to proactively advise and propose policies to address challenges faced by investors and local authorities during project deployment.
