At the Conference on Implementing the 2025 Leadership Resolution, which took place on the morning of February 21, the Vietnam Airlines leadership announced its 2025 business plan with a target of transporting 25.4 million passengers. The company aims for a revenue of 95,600 billion VND and a pre-tax profit of 2,176 billion VND for the parent company.
“Vietnam Airlines will focus on accelerating digital transformation, improving labor productivity, and investing in key areas to enhance our competitiveness,” said Director General Le Hong Ha. He also stated that the investment in 50 narrow-body aircraft will be an important part of the airline’s fleet development strategy.
Vietnam Airlines’ 2025 business plan builds on the successes of 2024, when the airline achieved a consolidated pre-tax profit of 7,464 billion VND and served 22.7 million passengers.
In addition to fleet expansion, Vietnam Airlines is also focusing on infrastructure upgrades, particularly investing in service complexes at Long Thanh Airport. The airline will intensify the application of technology, including artificial intelligence and big data, to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer experience.
“The year 2025 marks not only the completion of Vietnam Airlines’ short-term goals but also a pivotal year for our long-term development,” emphasized Chairman of the Board of Directors Dang Ngoc Hoa.
