On March 26th, Viettel Construction (coded CTR) was honored with the title of Labor Hero. At the ceremony, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, member of the Central Military Commission, and Deputy Minister of National Defense, directed several important contents for Viettel Construction’s breakthrough in the next phase.
Firstly, continue to implement the Strategy for National Defense in the new situation; Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in developing science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation; and Resolution No. 820 dated December 17, 2021, of the Central Military Commission on leading the task of labor, production, and economic construction combined with national defense of the army by 2030.
Focus on building a strong political foundation to enhance the comprehensive quality, production, and business capacity; strive to develop vigorously and fulfill military and national defense tasks, contributing to the cause of building and defending the nation.
Secondly, maintain the number one position in construction, operation, and infrastructure investment in the telecommunications network. The remaining fields of the Corporation aim to reach the top of their respective industries; affirm the spirit and aspiration of military enterprises in the domestic and foreign markets. Research, apply, and provide green, clean, and environmentally friendly products, participating in key national projects, high-tech projects, digital transformation, and green transition, making positive contributions to the country’s socio-economic development.
Viettel Construction should aim for even larger and more impactful projects, reaching out to the world and new regions. This includes not only Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar but also war-torn areas, where we can contribute to reconstruction efforts.
Thirdly, promote comprehensive strength and synchronously accelerate the development of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation across all fields of the Corporation. Create differentiation from industry peers and directly contribute to revenue growth, improved labor productivity, and enhanced product and service quality.
Embrace the spirit of “Respect for the Law” to ensure that all production and business activities of the unit comply with the guidelines, views of the Party, policies, laws of the State, and military discipline.
Fourthly, maintain close solidarity with local party committees, authorities, mass organizations, people, agencies, and partner customers. Continue to effectively implement policies, mass mobilization, community support, and people-centric initiatives.
Actively participate in social security activities to introduce and promote the image and people of Viettel.
Fifthly, focus on building strong party organizations at all levels in terms of politics, ideology, morality, and organization, and personnel; attach importance to Party building and rectification in association with promoting the study and following of the thought, morality, and style of Ho Chi Minh and the Campaign of “Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, deserving to be called Uncle Ho’s soldiers.”
