On March 28, the Steering Committee for Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negative Behavior Prevention of Lam Dong province held its 10th meeting.
According to the report, since the beginning of 2025, the police have initiated prosecutions and investigations into 26 cases involving 41 suspects, concluded investigations into 5 cases with 6 suspects, prosecuted 11 cases with 17 suspects, and tried 1 case with 1 defendant for corruption and negative behavior.
The meeting was chaired by Nguyen Thai Hoc, Acting Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
Inspection and auditing agencies at all levels have concluded that two Party organizations and seven Party members violated regulations and must be disciplined. They also transferred one case with signs of criminal offenses to investigative agencies.
Notably, the Steering Committee has decided to put 203 construction projects, 18,000 hectares of land in delayed projects, and 113 houses, land plots, and villas (state assets in the province) under its supervision and monitoring.
In particular, the Lam Dong Provincial Police’s Investigative Agency has initiated a criminal case and detained several suspects for “Violation of regulations on land management” related to Minh Rong Tea Joint Stock Company in Bao Lam District.
At the meeting, the Steering Committee set out key tasks to effectively achieve the set goals in the coming time.
