The auction will be held publicly at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) on 12/05/2025. Interested investors can register and submit a deposit from April 15-29. The plan to divest almost 12.1 million Domesco shares is part of SCIC’s investment portfolio restructuring roadmap as per Decision 690/QD-TTg by the Prime Minister, approving the plan for rearranging and restructuring SCIC until the end of 2025. Accordingly, Domesco is one of 74 enterprises on the list of companies from which SCIC will fully divest this year.
Domesco is a pharmaceutical company with a long history in Vietnam, with a charter capital of over VND 347 billion and ownership of 5 GMP-certified factories with a total capacity of 3.2 billion units of products per year. The company specializes in the production and trading of medicines, functional foods, and medical equipment, with a distribution system spanning all 63 provinces and exports to over 13 countries.

In 2024, Domesco recorded nearly VND 1,900 billion in net revenue and over VND 202 billion in after-tax profit, both increasing by 10% compared to the previous year. As of the end of the year, total assets amounted to over VND 1,840 billion, with payable debt at VND 228 billion. For 2025, the company targets an after-tax profit of VND 228 billion and plans to pay a 25% cash dividend.
The current strategic shareholder of Domesco is Abbott Laboratories (Chile) Holdco Spa, a leading pharmaceutical group in South America, which holds controlling rights with a 51.69% stake. Following SCIC’s complete divestment, Domesco will no longer have state participation in its shareholder structure.
As per the master plan approved by the Prime Minister for the year 2025, SCIC will continue to restructure itself into a large-scale financial investment organization, focusing on investing in important projects and leading the efficient use of state capital. Additionally, SCIC will decisively handle inefficient investments and gradually transition to a professional investment operating model.
For 2025, SCIC aims to achieve nearly VND 12,000 billion in revenue, over VND 9,200 billion in pre-tax profit, and expects to disburse over VND 18,900 billion in investments.
