A notable statement was made by FPT Chairman, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, at the Forum on Developing New Impetus for the Nation and the Launch Ceremony of the Strategic Human Resources Alliance for the Implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW, organized by FPT Group on May 7.
“IN THE NEW BATTLE, VIETNAM CAN ONLY WIN THROUGH KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNOLOGY”
Referring to Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development, Mr. Binh emphasized the important content mentioned in the resolution:Â
”
Entrepreneurs are soldiers on the economic front.”
That statement reminded Mr. Binh of historical stories
. General Vo Nguyen Giap once said, “If the past had Dien Bien Phu, today’s Vietnamese youth will achieve glorious new victories.” And Mr. Binh asserted,
“Today, this is gradually becoming a reality.”
According to the leader of FPT, if we want to stand shoulder to shoulder with advanced nations in the world, we need to win a new battle – a battle to triumph through knowledge and technology.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh.
“We must create generations of young people with knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence, promoting the strength of the whole nation – as we did during the resistance war. From the central to local levels, from the government to the youth – everyone needs to innovate and dedicate themselves to the development of the nation.”
To do this well, young people, students, and students themselves must be proficient in technology, fluent in foreign languages, and able to work with leading experts in the world. Only then, in the current world, will they no longer worry about AI taking away their jobs, propelling the country forward, and becoming a global workforce in the fields of governance and artificial intelligence.
“CREATING NEW IMPETUS FOR THE NATION’S DEVELOPMENT THROUGH THE STRATEGIC HUMAN RESOURCES ALLIANCE”
Talking about the current picture of Vietnam, Mr. Binh believes that drastic changes are taking place, and amazingly, they are happening at a rapid pace.
”
There are not many countries in the world that can carry out administrative reforms with such speed and scale. That is a testament to the belief in Vietnam – a country that is rising strongly,”
Mr. Binh said.
With such a rapid development pace, we are forced to “run and queue at the same time” – even in the fields of education and training. Resolution 57 is not just a number but has become a symbol of new, strategic, and breakthrough resolutions, fundamentally changing the face of the nation. This poses the requirement for urgent, practical, and unprecedented training. To materialize the spirit of Resolution 57, Mr. Binh suggested calling on technology enterprises to join the Strategic Human Resources Alliance, aiming to have a team of world-class managers and scientists by 2045, contributing to building a nation based on science and technology.

At the event, representatives of five leading academies, universities, and colleges joined the alliance, including the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, the Academy of Cryptography Technology, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Engineering and Technology under Vietnam National University Hanoi, and FPT University. The alliance, with the participation of parties with different strengths, will be a great boost, contributing to creating a strong and sustainable impetus for the nation’s advancement.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, CEO of FPT, shared that one of the important initiatives of the Strategic Human Resources Alliance is the “Engineer 57” training program, initiated by FPT University.
This program is designed to be innovative, providing quick and practical training for students from an early stage. The training content includes state management, enterprise management, digital economy, citizen experience, and in-depth technologies, with AI support in curriculum development and teaching.
Representatives from sectors such as banking (VietinBank), policy research (Ban IV), personnel training (Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics), and information security (Academy of Cryptography Technology) emphasized the urgent need for human resources.
“Engineer 57” requires not only technological knowledge (AI, cloud, cybersecurity) but also modern management thinking, business analysis skills, legal understanding, and leadership in the transformation process.
The alliance and training programs like “Engineer 57” are expected to create a new generation of human resources with breakthrough thinking, meeting the demands of the times, contributing to realizing national development goals, and propelling Vietnam forward in the global value chain.
Mr. Binh added that even though we are no longer in a time of war, one of the new missions of universities is to inspire a sense of aspiration and victory, similar to Dien Bien Phu and the Great Spring Victory, in the era of national advancement.
“After the establishment of the Vietnam People’s Army, President Ho Chi Minh assigned General Vo Nguyen Giap to found a military school (Tran Quoc Tuan Military Academy). When asked, ‘What will be taught in the school?’, Uncle Ho answered, ‘The history of the country.’ His message was clear: Soldiers – like us today and the students of tomorrow – need to be instilled with patriotism, national pride, and the firm belief that Vietnam will become an advanced nation.”
Mr. Binh emphasized.
