CTCP Trung Tâm Há»™i Chợ Triển Lãm Việt Nam (VEF) is a subsidiary of Vingroup (VIC), with billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong as its Chairman. VIC currently holds over 83% of VEF’s capital.

According to plans, VEF will hold its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders later this May. In preparation for the meeting, the company has released its 2025 Annual General Meeting documents.

Specifically, according to these documents, the company faced challenges in organizing trade fairs and exhibitions at new locations last year, including inconvenient locations, high rental costs, and traditional customers undergoing restructuring or having alternative marketing and branding options.

However, despite these difficulties, the company collaborated with various agencies and industry associations to prepare the necessary conditions for organizing trade fairs and exhibitions.

The company continued to organize annual fairs, ensuring scale, quality, and efficiency, while also maintaining its large-scale billboard advertising business on major roads.

VEF developed and implemented a plan to expand customer partnerships domestically and internationally, seeking business opportunities in the fields of trade fairs, exhibitions, events, and related services, especially with the upcoming operation of the National Exhibition and Fair Center. This includes major national and international exhibitions, as well as events assigned by the Government or the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

In 2024, the company achieved 46.4% of its planned service revenue, earning 4.6 billion VND. Total service revenue and financial revenue reached 1,259.1 billion VND, a 119.7% increase compared to 2023. The company’s pre-tax profit was 1,184.9 billion VND, a 117.8% surge from 2023. Post-tax profit reached 942.2 billion VND, 3.8 times the planned figure.

In 2025, the company will continue to implement multiple projects simultaneously: the National Exhibition and Fair Center project in Dong Anh, Hanoi; the Mixed-use Trade Center and Complex project at 148 Giang Vo, Ba Dinh, Hanoi; and the Urban Function Area project in Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi.

Additionally, the new urban area component of the Dong Anh project has been approved for investment by the Hanoi People’s Committee. The project is currently under construction, progressing according to the approved schedule. The company has also obtained shareholder approval for the partial project transfer to a partner, and as of March 31, 2025, the transfer process has been completed.

This year, the company plans to organize two trade fairs and exhibitions. VEF’s projected revenue from sales and service provision is 44 trillion VND, a significant increase of 9,565 times compared to 2024’s figure of 4.6 billion VND. Post-tax profit is expected to reach 16 trillion VND, nearly 17 times higher than the previous year.

The National Exhibition and Fair Center, located in Dong Hoi and Xuan Canh communes, Dong Anh district, is being built to replace the old exhibition center in Giang Vo.

With a massive scale of 90 hectares, the National Exhibition and Fair Center will become the largest exhibition center in Southeast Asia, the fifth-largest in Asia, and among the top 10 globally.

The center includes an indoor exhibition complex resembling the legendary turtle, with nine sub-areas totaling over 130,000 square meters, four outdoor exhibition parks (covering 20.6 hectares), two small indoor exhibition halls, and various auxiliary facilities.

Recently, this project was chosen as the venue for the exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2nd. The project is currently in its final stages and is expected to be completed by July 2025.
