According to VNA, continuing the activities within the framework of the state visit to Kazakhstan, on the morning of May 7 local time, General Secretary To Lam had meetings with leaders of the Kusto Group and the Director of the National Investment Fund of Kazakhstan.
Receiving Mr. Bolat Duisenov, Co-founder of Kusto Vietnam (a subsidiary of the Kusto Group, Kazakhstan) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Coteccons (code: CTD), General Secretary To Lam proposed that the business communities of the two countries, including the Kusto Group and Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company, should promote their advantages and form and develop value chains, connecting the two countries and the global market, thereby promoting investment and business cooperation in the future.
The General Secretary affirmed that the Party and State of Vietnam welcome the Kusto Group and Coteccons to continue studying and expanding investment cooperation in the fields of construction and rare earth minerals in Kazakhstan, on the principle of ensuring investment efficiency and harmonizing the interests of related parties, complying with the laws of both sides.
Mr. Bolat Dulsenov expressed his group’s desire to invest in areas where Vietnam has demands. He wished that the Party and Government of Vietnam would create favorable conditions for the group to participate in investing and sharing experiences in implementing key national projects of Vietnam, expanding cooperation in many fields where both sides have demands, and making substantive contributions to Vietnam’s new era of development.
