On May 7th, the Investigation Police Agency of Bac Giang Provincial Public Security issued a decision to initiate a criminal case and prosecute the accused, Thiệu Thái Hà, born in 1984, residing in Chu Xá neighborhood, Quang Châu ward, Việt Yên town.
The accused, Thiệu Thái Hà, is the Director of Gia Hân 68 Trading and Service Co., Ltd., located in Đạo Ngạn 2 neighborhood, Quang Châu ward. Also prosecuted is the accused, Nguyễn Thị Mến, born in 1987, residing in Sơn Lập neighborhood, Vôi town, Lạng Giang district, accountant of Mến Huấn Limited Liability Company. Both accused are charged with the crime of illegal purchasing and selling of invoices.

The Investigation Agency is delivering prosecution decisions to the subjects.
During the investigation process, the investigative agency determined that Mến Huấn Limited Liability Company operates in the construction materials business. In the course of its operation, Mến Huấn LLC purchased sand from drivers, boats, and yards in Lạng Giang, Lục Nam, and Yên Dũng (now Bắc Giang) districts.
From July 2022 to the end of 2024, Nguyễn Thị Mến contacted Thiệu Thái Hà to purchase value-added invoices to legalize goods purchased without invoices, causing billions of VND in damage to the state budget. Initially, the accused voluntarily paid 500 million VND to compensate for the damage, which was used for tax declaration by Gia Hân 68 Trading and Service Co., Ltd.
The Investigation Police Agency of Bac Giang Provincial Public Security is continuing to expand the investigation to clarify the crimes of the accused and other related subjects.
