On May 8th, the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee shared information that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee had convened a meeting to discuss and provide feedback on matters pertaining to addressing challenges faced by enterprises and the progress of projects within the province.

At this meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Secretary of the Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that the province’s new mission following its merger with Ho Chi Minh City is to expand the development space for Ho Chi Minh City’s center. He further stated that the province should continue its growth based on established plans, focusing on developing a new generation of industrial and urban belts, livable cities, modern infrastructure, and centers of excellence in healthcare, education, culture, and sports.

Mr. Loi clearly defined the roles and responsibilities of the units involved, stressing the importance of adhering to a “clear person, clear task, clear time, clear responsibility” approach in handling tasks. He also emphasized the need for enhanced leadership, guidance, inspection, and urging in implementation. Regarding difficulties and obstacles, he requested that they be promptly reported and appropriate solutions be proposed to the competent authorities for immediate resolution.

Mr. Loi urged an acceleration in the disbursement of public investment capital, particularly in compensation and site clearance, calling for local authorities to swiftly hand over project sites to expedite implementation. He specifically mentioned key projects such as the expansion of National Highway 13, the Ring Road 3 of Ho Chi Minh City, and the Ho Chi Minh City-Thu Dau Mot-Chon Thanh Expressway. Mr. Loi highlighted the Ring Road 4 project, stating that land price determination must be completed by June 30, 2025, to facilitate land clearance.
