The Ministry of Finance has temporarily assigned the state capital represented by Mr. Dao Nam Hai as per Decision No. 45 dated January 28, 2022, of the State Capital Management Commission to Mr. Pham Van Thanh, Chairman of the Board of Management of Petrolimex. The decision came into effect immediately on May 6.
Mr. Dao Nam Hai, 51, is the CEO of Petrolimex Corporation. He holds a Master of Economic Law, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National Economics University, and an MBA from Hanoi National University. Prior to becoming CEO in March 2022, Mr. Hai served as Deputy CEO for nearly five years (October 2017 – March 2022) and was a member of the Board of Management and CEO of PJICO, a subsidiary of Petrolimex, for eight years (April 2014 – March 2022).

Mr. Hai has also held key positions in various Petrolimex subsidiaries, including Membership on the Board of Management of Construction Group 1 – Petrolimex and the National Reinsurance Corporation of Vietnam.
In an interview with Tien Phong newspaper, Mr. Pham Van Thanh, Chairman of the Board of Management of Petrolimex, assured that the company’s operations remain unaffected and are proceeding as usual.
