Mr. Truong Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoang Quan Commercial Services Real Estate Consulting Joint Stock Company (stock code: HQC), has registered to purchase 25 million HQC shares.

If successful, Mr. Tuan will double his holdings to 50 million shares, equivalent to 8.67% of the charter capital, becoming a major shareholder of HQC. The expected transaction period is from May 13 to June 11, through matching or negotiated trading methods.

At the close of the trading session on May 8, HQC shares surged to the ceiling price of VND 3,300 per share. Calculated at this price, the number of shares registered to be purchased by Mr. Tuan is worth nearly VND 83 billion.

Previously, Mr. Tuan completed the purchase of 23 million HQC shares in the period of April 25-29, increasing his ownership to 25 million shares, equivalent to 4.33% of the charter capital.

Saigon Real Estate Joint Stock Company (stock code: SGR) ended its offering of 20 million private placement shares on May 7, with nearly 9.9 million shares issued successfully, equivalent to a rate of 39.8%. The only individual participating in the purchase of these shares was Mr. Pham Thu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SGR.

At a selling price of VND 40,000 per share, Mr. Thu spent nearly VND 400 billion to buy these shares. In the event that the remaining 10.1 million shares are not successfully offered and are canceled, Mr. Thu’s ownership rate at SGR will reach 39.84%.

Mr. Thu was the only investor registered to buy all 20 million shares issued by Saigon Real Estate Joint Stock Company, but in reality, he only purchased nearly 9.9 million shares. The reason given for not completing the transaction was the instability of the stock market.

Conversely, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Quang, a member of the Board of Directors of Hoa Phat Group Joint Stock Company (stock code: HPG), registered to sell by agreement 8.5 million shares to his son and relatives from May 14 to June 12.

If the transaction is successful, Mr. Quang’s ownership rate at HPG will decrease to 1.63% of the charter capital, equivalent to nearly 105 million shares. The estimated value of Mr. Quang’s agreed transaction is over VND 218 billion.

Conversely, Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Mr. Quang’s son, has registered to buy by agreement 5.5 million HPG shares during the same period of May 14 to June 12.

Similarly, Ms. Tran Thi Tam, the sister of Mr. Tran Ngoc Dan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of City Auto Joint Stock Company (stock code: CTF), registered to sell nearly 1.2 million shares that she is holding, from May 12 to June 10, for personal financial purposes.

The estimated value of Ms. Tam’s transaction is about VND 26 billion. Previously, Ms. Tam had sold by agreement 251,157 CTF shares during the period of February 14 to March 13.
