The People’s Committee of Ca Mau province has issued a decision on the framework for renting social housing, housing for the armed forces, and worker dormitories in industrial parks in the area. The decision came into effect on May 20th.
According to the decision, the rental framework for social housing and housing for the armed forces applies to projects that are not funded by public investment or trade union finances. Specifically, for apartment buildings with five floors or less that do not require land clearance, the minimum rent is VND 37,000 per square meter per month, and the maximum is VND 65,000 per square meter per month.

For independent social housing projects that require land clearance, the rent ranges from VND 39,000 to VND 78,000 per square meter per month. Apartment buildings with 6 to 10 floors that do not require land clearance have a rental range of VND 43,000 to VND 71,000 per square meter per month. In projects where land clearance is necessary, the rent is set between VND 44,000 and VND 83,000 per square meter per month.
As for detached social housing with one floor that requires land clearance, the rent is set between VND 41,000 and VND 80,000 per square meter per month. Regarding rental prices for worker dormitories in industrial parks, apartment buildings with five floors or less are priced between VND 37,000 and VND 65,000 per square meter per month.
For worker dormitories with 6 to 10 floors, the rent ranges from VND 43,000 to VND 71,000 per square meter per month. Furthermore, the rental framework for social housing constructed or renovated by individuals sets the price for one-floor houses at VND 22,000 to VND 53,000 per square meter per month. For apartment buildings, the rent is VND 35,000 to VND 66,000 per square meter per month.
