Yamaha India has unveiled the 2025 edition of its popular Aerox 155 sports scooter, now updated to meet the new eco-friendly OBD-2B emissions standards. The S variant receives subtle design tweaks and a new color option.
Pricing for the standard and S versions is set at 150,130 Rs (45.9 million VND) and 153,430 Rs (47 million VND, including showroom tax), respectively. While Yamaha hasn’t announced a price increase with this launch, prices were adjusted slightly about a month ago.

The Aerox 155 S now offers Ice Fluo Vermillion, replacing the previous Grey Vermillion. The Racing Blue version remains but with sharper, more striking graphics. The standard model retains its Metallic Black paint scheme, and the familiar “X Center” graphics continue to be a signature of the Aerox range.

Powering the Aerox 155 2025 is a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 155cc engine that produces 14.75 horsepower and 13.9 Nm of torque. It features a telescopic front fork and dual-shock rear suspension setup.

This scooter is packed with modern features, including LED headlights and position lights, an LED taillight, a Bluetooth-connected instrument cluster, a multi-function key, and an engine auto-stop/start system with a side stand engine cut-off function.
The S variant takes convenience a notch higher with its Smart Key system. The Aerox 155 2025 retains the same technical specifications as its predecessor and rides on large 14-inch wheels.
Additionally, the inclusion of the Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system ensures smooth and powerful performance across the rev range.

In terms of safety, the Aerox 155 is equipped with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake, along with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) on the front wheel to prevent wheel lock-up during emergency braking.
Furthermore, traction control (TCS) enhances stability on various terrain, making it a popular choice among adventure seekers.
The latest Aerox Alpha 2025/YECVT has also made its way to Vietnam through private importers, but it does not come with an official warranty. Prices for this model start at around 90 million VND.
