On May 11, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Director of the Management Authority for Investment Construction Projects in Quang Tri province, shared information about the Coastal Road Project, which includes the sections passing through the Cua Tung and Cua Viet Bridge areas. The project has a total investment of VND 600 billion, funded by the central government budget.
“Regarding the implementation of this road project, the XL-01 Construction Package, worth VND 399.35 billion, is currently being openly bid online. The bidding will open at 9 am on May 18, 2025, and the contract duration is set for six months,” Mr. Binh stated.

The funded road sections include a 3.16-kilometer stretch near Cua Tung Bridge and a 1.4-kilometer stretch near Cua Viet Bridge. The project is located in Vinh Tan and Vinh Giang communes of Vinh Linh District, Trung Giang commune of Gio Linh District, and Trieu An commune of Trieu Phong District, Quang Tri Province.
