On May 10th, the People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province approved the investment policy for the construction of a resettlement area for households affected by the Tan Phu – Bao Loc and Bao Loc – Lien Khuong expressway projects (the section passing through Bao Loc city).

Accordingly, the resettlement area will be built on the land planned for the construction of Loc Son 1 Primary School (in Loc Son ward, Bao Loc city). The project is managed by the Management Board of Investment and Construction of Bao Loc city, with a total investment of approximately VND 15.1 billion.

The project will invest in completing the D3 route with a length of about 170m, an 8m wide road, and sidewalks on both sides as detailed in the approved plan. Technical infrastructure items include: electricity, lighting, water supply and drainage, telecommunication, fire protection, wastewater treatment, and auxiliary works.

The land will also be leveled to allocate resettlement according to the plot division plan and is expected to be completed by 2025.

The Tan Phu – Lien Khuong Expressway will reduce traffic on National Highway 20, especially the section passing through Bao Loc Pass.

On the same day, the People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province approved the bidding documents for the selection of contractors for the investment and construction of the Bao Loc – Lien Khuong expressway project (phase 1) with a total investment of more than VND 17,700 billion in the form of a public-private partnership.

Previously, regarding the slow implementation of the Bao Loc – Lien Khuong Expressway, the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province warned that he would suspend the position of the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Di Linh district if the local government continued to delay the budget allocation for this expressway project.

The Chairman of the People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province also noted the slow budget allocation for the implementation of the Bao Loc – Lien Khuong Expressway project by the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Duc Trong district.

The Tan Phu – Bao Loc Expressway project is approximately 67km long, starting in Tan Phu district (Dong Nai province) and ending in Bao Loc city (Lam Dong province), with a total investment of over VND 18,000 billion.

The Bao Loc – Lien Khuong Expressway project (phase 1) has a total investment of more than VND 17,700 billion. The project starts at Loc Phat ward, Bao Loc city, and ends at the intersection with the Lien Khuong – Prenn Expressway (Hiep Thanh commune, Duc Trong district), with a total length of over 73km.

Both expressway projects are part of the Dau Giay – Lien Khuong Expressway, which is more than 200km long, connecting Dong Nai and Lam Dong provinces.
