On April 26th, the Danang People’s Council approved a list of land areas that will be open for bidding to select investors for projects requiring land use in the city.
Hoa Vang district tops the list with the largest land bank, featuring a series of large-scale urban development projects.

Specifically, the urban area east of the Nam Hai Van tunnel bypass road will span 135 hectares, while the urban area south of National Highway 1 along the river will cover 30 hectares. Another project, located in the expanded Thanh Vinh industrial cluster, will occupy more than 36 hectares.
Additionally, Hoa Vang boasts notable projects such as the 268-hectare Eastern Hillside Urban Area, the 53-hectare Northwestern Hillside Urban Area, and the 160-hectare Hoa Vang District Urban Area.
In Cam Le district, a 53-hectare urban area west of the Cau Do Water Factory along the river has been included in the bidding list.
Ngũ Hà nh Sơn district, on the other hand, focuses on educational development, including the 15-hectare ST1-4B-DT1 and DT4 University Education Complex, the 6-hectare ST1-4B-DT6 Education and Training Area, and the 5.2-hectare ST1-4B-DT5 Education and Training Area.
Meanwhile, the city plans to develop a 4.8-hectare sludge treatment and solid waste recycling plant in Lien Chieu district.
The approval of this list is a crucial step in proactively attracting social investment and promoting the synchronized development of urban infrastructure, commerce, education, and the environment for the 2025–2026 period.
The city expects to organize bidding for these land areas from 2025 to 2026.
