“ACB Receives Approval for Capital Increase”
The State Bank of Vietnam has approved ACB’s proposal to increase its capital by up to VND 6,700 billion through a stock dividend issuance.
This capital increase plan was approved by the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. ACB plans to issue approximately 670 million new shares (a 15% increase) with a par value of VND 10,000 per share. The capital source will be from the undistributed consolidated profit reserve as of December 31, 2024, after allocating funds to various funds.
ACB’s chartered capital is expected to increase from VND 44,667 billion to VND 51,367 billion. The issuance is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025.
On April 29, ACB also announced an update to its list of shareholders owning 1% or more of its charter capital.
Ms. Nguyen Thien Huong Jenny has increased her holdings in ACB to over 63.2 million shares, representing a stake of 1.416%. The group affiliated with Ms. Nguyen Thien Huong Jenny holds a total of over 111.5 million shares, equivalent to a 2.497% stake.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Hieu Johnny has also increased his shareholdings to over 51 million shares, representing a 1.142% stake. Individuals related to Mr. Nguyen Duc Hieu Johnny currently hold over 123.7 million shares, equivalent to a 2.77% stake.
On the HOSE, ACB shares are trading around VND 24,600 per share (as of May 13 morning) with an average daily trading volume of over 9 million shares.
