The Cao Bang Provincial Police request that the violators come to the address of the Traffic Police Department: Ward 5, Song Hien Street, Cao Bang City, to resolve the issue according to regulations. If the violators do not come forward, the police will coordinate with the local authorities of the vehicle owner’s residence, place of study, work, or headquarters to handle the matter.

Within 20 days, violation information will be posted on the website of the Traffic Police Department, and the status will be updated to warn the Vehicle Registration Agency (for vehicles subject to inspection).

If the car’s speed exceeds the limit by more than 35 km/h, the fine is VND 12,000,000 – VND 14,000,000, and 6 points will be deducted from the driver’s license.

Additionally, if a driver exceeds the speed limit and causes a traffic accident, the fine is VND 20,000,000 – VND 22,000,000, and 10 points will be deducted from their license.

For those driving motorcycles, scooters, or similar vehicles, the fine for exceeding the speed limit by 5 km/h – 10 km/h is VND 400,000 – VND 600,000; by 10 km/h – 20 km/h is VND 800,000 – VND 1,000,000. If the speed exceeds the limit by more than 20 km/h, the motorcycle driver will be fined VND 6,000,000 – VND 8,000,000. If the driver exceeds the speed limit and causes a traffic accident, the fine is VND 10,000,000 – VND 14,000,000, and 10 points will be deducted from their license.

According to Decree 168, in cases where there is no traffic accident, the penalty for running a red light is VND 18,000,000 – VND 20,000,000 for car drivers and VND 4,000,000 – VND 6,000,000 for motorcycle or scooter drivers. Additionally, 4 points will be deducted from the driver’s license.
