During the meeting, both parties presented their strategic vision, core values, and ongoing initiatives to support women and female entrepreneurs globally. The encounter affirmed the role of both organizations in empowering and enhancing the leadership role of Vietnamese women in economics and entrepreneurship.
As part of the program, several female entrepreneurs shared their inspiring journeys and notable projects, showcasing not only their contribution to livelihood creation for their families and communities but also their spirit of innovation and social responsibility, thus fostering sustainable development.
One such inspiring story came from the Hoan Kiem District Disabled People’s Association. Driven by Ms. Pham Thi Hien’s desire to create livelihoods for disabled women and inspired by the 2024 “Women’s Creative Start-up and Green Transition” competition, the association recycled fabric scraps into artistic fabric flowers, producing sustainable handicrafts. This initiative provided employment and increased income for disabled women, boosting their confidence and self-worth while fostering a supportive community with a positive message for society.
CEO Kat Nguyen, representing the Cỏ Cây Hoa Lá brand, shared her company’s support for women’s economic empowerment. As a young Vietnamese enterprise, Cỏ Cây Hoa Lá is committed to becoming a community-oriented and women-centric brand, continuously advocating for green entrepreneurship, responsible business practices, and creating sustainable value for women, especially those building their careers.
The event not only expanded Cỏ Cây Hoa Lá’s network within the Vietnamese and international female entrepreneur communities but also demonstrated the brand’s pioneering spirit in empowering women on their development journey, economically empowering them, and driving positive change in the community.
The gathering also provided a valuable opportunity for female entrepreneurs, especially the younger generation, to interact and exchange ideas with international experts and experienced female leaders. This helped enhance their capabilities, update their management thinking, and expose them to advanced business models.
This meeting laid the foundation for the development of comprehensive and highly applicable cooperation programs to support female entrepreneurs in Vietnam in their international integration journey.
