Just recently, the official fan page of the Heart Chat cafe’s Ho Chi Minh City branch posted a lengthy article, sharing the pressures they have been facing lately. In the post, the cafe announced that it would temporarily halt operations at this location pending verification from authorities regarding recent related information.

However, what caught the attention of many was the fact that just a day after this announcement, on May 14th, a cleanup operation was observed at the cafe’s address. Despite the statement indicating a “temporary halt” and a potential return, the ongoing activities took many by surprise.

According to observations, numerous tables and chairs, pots and pans, cutting boards, plastic containers, and other items were being collected by staff and loaded onto trucks and pedicabs. The interior of the cafe was in a state of disarray, with people busy packing up various items. Passersby stopped to gaze, curious about the situation.

A sign hung right outside the cafe read: “In the past period, the cafe has faced much misleading information, disturbances, and a significant drop in customers. Therefore, we have decided to temporarily cease operations until we receive an official conclusion from the authorities.”

A day prior, Heart Chat cafe had shared a lengthy “open letter” on their fan page, detailing their passion for the profession since its inception. They also addressed the disturbances the cafe had faced due to controversies related to “long se dieu” (a type of tobacco product). The cafe also apologized for not properly managing their communication, which led to misunderstandings.

Additionally, they mentioned that they would “temporarily cease operations” until an official conclusion was reached by the authorities. Notably, the post also stated that they would “return with a stronger, more sincere, and transparent mindset than ever before.”

Given these developments, many are curious about the future operations of this Heart Chat cafe branch. The story continues to attract the attention of the online community, with mixed reactions and opinions.
