The Hanoi People’s Committee has just issued a document approving real estate businesses to implement pilot projects in the city under Resolution No. 171/2024/QH15 dated November 30, 2024, of the National Assembly (on piloting the implementation of commercial housing projects through agreements on the receipt of land use rights or land use rights).

Accordingly, there are 148 land plots with a total area of approximately 840.36 hectares (including about 169.54 hectares of rice land) for the pilot implementation.

Among them, many districts have dozens of land plots included in the list for implementation. For example, Long Bien District (18 projects), Dong Anh District (17 projects), Hoang Mai District (13 projects), Thanh Xuan District (12 projects), Nam Tu Liem District, and Hoai Duc District (11 projects each).

Most of the projects involve construction of residential housing, including low-rise, high-rise, commercial, eco-housing, and mixed-use commercial service complexes.

The Hanoi People’s Committee stated that the land areas for the pilot projects must meet certain conditions, such as being in line with the district-level land use planning or construction planning and urban planning, and conforming to the local housing development programs and plans that have been approved.
