Yamaha has unveiled its newest 125cc scooter, the Limi 2025, in the Taiwanese market (China), with a price point that has raised a few eyebrows.

The Yamaha Limi 2025 is positioned as a premium offering with a price ranging from 84,000 to 90,000 TWD (approximately 72 to 77 million VND). With this competitive pricing, the scooter is set to be a formidable contender in the high-end scooter segment.

The Limi 2025 is available in two variants: Standard and Deluxe. The Deluxe version captivates with its new “Emerald Green” and “Silver Metallic” color options, seamlessly blending simplicity, comfort, and luxurious materials. It boasts exquisite decorative details and shiny metallic rims, creating an overall impressive appearance.

On the other hand, the Standard version exudes elegance and subtlety with its “Golden Yellow” hue. Measuring 1,725 x 715 x 1,100mm in length, width, and height, respectively, the Limi 2025 features a seat height of just 755mm and weighs 97kg. Its fuel tank capacity is 4 liters.

Beyond its striking design, the Yamaha Limi 2025 boasts an array of convenient features. Both variants are equipped with a fast-charging USB Type-C port with QC 3.0 support and a UBS braking system. The Deluxe version takes it a notch higher with a 4.3-inch TFT color display, Y-Connect TWN App connectivity for smartphone vehicle management, and a suede-covered seat with automatic height adjustment. These features rival those found in the high-end Honda SH model.

Under the hood, the Yamaha Limi 2025 is powered by a Blue Core 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 125cc air-cooled engine, although the maximum power and torque figures remain undisclosed.

The scooter’s braking system combines a front disc brake with a rear drum brake, complemented by 90/90-10 tires, ensuring stable and confident urban commuting. While the full technical specifications of the Yamaha Limi are yet to be released, the scooter is confirmed to meet Euro 5 emissions and Euro 4 noise standards.

Yamaha has also provided detailed information about the Limi’s fuel efficiency, comparing it to other scooters in the same category. Impressively, the Limi is said to consume only approximately 1.7L/100km, equivalent to 58.1km/L.

The Japanese automaker Yamaha currently operates two assembly plants in Soc Son, Hanoi, employing over 4,000 workers.
