The cybersecurity market is booming, with the Gartner report valuing the global cybersecurity market at $174.5 billion in 2024, and it’s expected to reach $282.3 billion by 2028, growing at a CAGR of 12.8%. In Vietnam, the cybersecurity industry is forecasted to grow by 11.86% annually between 2024 and 2028, according to Statista.
Additionally, the National Cyber Security Association recorded over 659,000 cyber attacks in 2024 alone, affecting nearly 50% of agencies and businesses in Vietnam, resulting in significant financial and brand reputation losses.
CMC Telecom’s cybersecurity intelligence monitoring system detected 1,038 ransomware attacks in Q1 2025, impacting 22 industries and involving 33 different ransomware groups. The most targeted sectors included manufacturing (20.5%), business services (12%), construction (10.2%), retail (9.9%), and healthcare (6.8%).

Amidst these concerns, the Vietnam Security Summit 2025, themed “Ensuring Cybersecurity and Building Trust in the Digital Age,” is being held at the GEM Center in Ho Chi Minh City. The event is expected to gather 1,000 leading experts, managers, and over 50 top technology and security companies from Vietnam and abroad, including Microsoft, Fortinet, Group-IB, Samsung, CMC Telecom, Viettel, and FPT.
Over the past six years, the Vietnam Security Summit has not only served as a forum for discussing the latest security trends but also as a platform for businesses to exchange strategies and share experiences in dealing with increasingly sophisticated cybersecurity threats.
Following its impressive showing at the 2024 summit with its Secure Infra and SafeCloud solutions, CMC Telecom is returning this year with its comprehensive security platform. Developed with a “Security First” philosophy, the platform enables businesses to proactively, flexibly, and adaptably approach security in the digital environment. By integrating AI and cloud computing, the CMC Comprehensive Security Platform offers end-to-end protection, covering infrastructure, data, and real-time incident detection and response.

Alongside the exhibition, the event features one plenary session and three workshops focusing on pressing issues: data protection and privacy in the AI era, cloud security in the digital world, and ensuring the security of critical IT infrastructure. These workshops offer businesses an opportunity to stay abreast of strategic trends, share practical experiences, and discover advanced solutions tailored to their operational models.
At workshop number two, “Cloud Security in the Digital World,” CMC Telecom will present a paper on “Security First: Fully Unlock Cloud Potential.” This paper will offer strategic insights into the pivotal role of security in the cloud transformation journey, from design to implementation and operation.

CMC Telecom’s expert shared, “We consider security the foundation of every digital transformation journey, and we aim to be a leading, specialized, and comprehensive cybersecurity service provider for enterprises. With our internationally-standardized CMC Comprehensive Security Platform, we aspire to empower businesses to proactively manage risks and build defenses against all threats.”
By participating in the Vietnam Security Summit 2025, CMC Telecom aims to spread the “Security First” mindset, foster deep connections within the tech community, and collectively build a safer digital future.
The event will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on May 23, 2025, at the GEM Center, 8 Nguyen Binh Khiem, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Join CMC Telecom at this event to build a safer digital future. Registration link: https://securitysummit.vn/2025/dang-ky-tham-du/
