According to Mr. Hien Hoa, digital transformation is an inevitable trend, not only for management agencies but also for businesses. With the current context and the expanded administrative boundaries, Ho Chi Minh City’s MICE tourism (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) will now include resorts and beachfront hotels in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, as well as industrial tourism in Binh Duong.
“We recently worked with Binh Duong and found that there is still a lot of room for developing industrial tourism. With the new administrative boundaries, digital transformation is crucial for Ho Chi Minh City to encompass all tourism resources effectively. The Department of Tourism will directly invest in a shared data system and operate it for tourism purposes. Once the resources are in place, each unit and enterprise will jointly exploit them for optimal results,” said Mr. Hien Hoa.

With the expanded geographical scope, Ho Chi Minh City has the potential to form a tourism belt from Can Gio to Cu Chi, Binh Duong, Ba Ria, and Vung Tau. This will be a unique highlight, bringing together forests, seas, agriculture, culture, and creativity to create sustainable and internationally competitive linked products.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Y Yen, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, said that this is the first time the “Tourism and Entrepreneurs” program has been organized to create a networking space for entrepreneurs and enterprises in the tourism and service industries. This is not only an opportunity to introduce products and promote brands but also a chance to expand cooperation, connect businesses, and find strategic partners. Together, we can build a sustainable, professional, and breakthrough tourism ecosystem.

“Building an Infrastructure Tailored to the Development Needs of Innovative Enterprises and the Private Sector.”
The new regulation allowing for a minimum 30% reduction in land lease costs for the first five years is a step in the right direction. This cost reduction is essential, according to National Assembly delegates, but it’s not enough. What’s more crucial is creating infrastructure that caters to the unique needs of innovative enterprises.
