In a recent development, a supercomputer has predicted the end of our planet. According to LaGrada newspaper (April 2025), a group of scientists used a supercomputer to determine that life on Earth will become unsustainable in about 1 billion years. This is due to the increasingly harsh living conditions.

According to BGR on May 6th, scientists from NASA and Toho University in Japan used a supercomputer to pinpoint the exact moment when all life on Earth will cease to exist. The results revealed that the Sun will be the primary cause of this extinction event, which is predicted to occur around the year 1,000,002,021.

The Sun will continue to get hotter, and its radiation will increase, eventually heating the planet beyond the threshold that life can withstand.

The topic of Earth’s demise has been a subject of scientific inquiry for many years. A study published in Nature Geoscience in 2021 by Kazumi Ozaki and Christopher T. Reinhard explained that the Earth will eventually run out of environmental oxygen to sustain life.

While scientists have only just calculated these distant timelines, in recent years, the world’s super-rich have been taking action by building bunkers in preparation for apocalyptic events.

Mark Zuckerberg is reportedly building a massive complex in Hawaii.

In December 2023, reports emerged that Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg had purchased thousands of acres of land on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. He is reportedly in the process of building a massive complex (named Ko’olaou Ranch) costing over $260 million.

According to plans revealed by Wired, the property includes several large villas connected by underground tunnels, at least 11 luxurious treehouses connected by suspension bridges, and a soccer field.

The Facebook founder is not the only billionaire building bunkers. Billionaire Larry Hall has transformed a Cold War-era nuclear missile silo in Kansas into a 15-story underground complex.

Hall’s bunker is heavily guarded, with security forces patrolling the premises around the clock. It is surrounded by a sturdy barbed wire fence. The bunker has a massive food reserve and includes entertainment infrastructure such as a movie theater, swimming pool, medical clinic, library, and farming facilities to ensure a steady food supply.

Similarly, Robert Vicino, a real estate entrepreneur and CEO of Vivos, has constructed a massive shelter to prepare for potential “apocalyptic scenarios” in the future.

Vivos xPoint is located on a 46.6-square-kilometer site near the remote Black Hills region of South Dakota. It has been developed into a secure shelter with approximately 575 bunkers, accommodating up to 5,000 people.

With dimensions of 8×24 meters, each bunker has a starting price of $55,000 and an annual rent of $1,091. Residents can customize their spaces with various options, such as larger rooms, private bedrooms, and even gyms.

Many wealthy individuals worldwide, especially in the US, have opted to rent or purchase these luxurious bunkers to prepare for worst-case scenarios. Ron Hubbard, CEO of the “end-of-world” shelter company Atlas Survival Shelters, has witnessed a surge in demand due to people’s concerns about civil unrest.

According to the American magazine The Nation, apocalyptic real estate is a thriving and stable industry. Companies specializing in this field, such as Vivos and Rising S, earn millions of dollars annually by constructing luxurious bunkers for the super-rich.
