Piaggio introduced its new Vespa Primavera and Sprint models with an art exhibition named Galleria D’Arte, held at its factory in Vinh Phuc, considered the “home of Vespa” in Vietnam.
The event aimed to showcase a journey celebrating the brand’s passion and creative inspiration through artistic expressions.
Following this concept, the new Primavera features a tone-on-tone color scheme, drawing inspiration from the classic Vespa models of the 1940s and 1950s. Specifically, the entire body, fenders, handles, wheels, and leather seat are uniformly colored. The standard version is available in white and red, while the Primavera S comes in green, blue, and white.

On the other hand, the Vespa Sprint creates a contrast between matte and glossy finishes, with certain details accentuated in black for a bolder look. The standard Sprint comes in yellow and red, while the S version offers four colors: gray, black, green, and white.
Customers can also opt for a range of personalized accessories with the Sport Kit, adding colorful touches to the wheels, seat, tie, and sports decals.

Other design differences between the Primavera and Sprint include the handlebars, the iconic Vespa tie emblem celebrating 79 years, refined air intakes, and distinct wheel designs—for instance, the Primavera has five-spoke wheels matching the body color, while the Sprint features six-spoke sports wheels.
The new Vespa duo now offers enhanced connectivity, allowing riders to connect their phones via the Vespa MIA app to manage call and message notifications and control music directly from the scooter. The display has also been upgraded to show more parameters than before.
Additionally, the lighting system has been improved with full-time LED lights, enhancing both safety and aesthetics.
For the first time, these models are equipped with technologies previously only found on higher-end lines, such as the Roll Over Sensor (a tilt sensor that automatically turns off the engine when the scooter exceeds a safe tilt angle) and the Emergency Engine Killer (which automatically stops the engine in abnormal situations).
According to the manufacturer, the fuel consumption of these scooters is 2.4L/100 km, an improvement over the previous 2.63L/100 km.
Piaggio has also shared sustainability information about the new Vespas, stating that 89% of the vehicle’s weight can be recycled, and 12% of the materials used in production are recycled.
